The World of my Thoughts
This website is the medium for the public expression of my thoughts – what I have learnt, what I have experienced and the impressions that events and interactions have left in me.
I enjoy writing. The process of sending thoughts that form in my mind to the keyboard and thereon into a document through my fingers is an exciting and enjoyable process of creation.
I write on a variety of topics, Technology, Management, Religion, Human behaviour, Nature, and so on. I write fiction, essays and poetry. Some of them are published here. I write mostly in English, a few pieces in Tamil and recently trying to write in Sanskrit too.
What you are seeing now is an improved and updated version of the site that I had created sometime in 2011-12 myself.
That year, I wrote the section “Thiruppavai in English” during a 30 day period in the month of Margazhi, one pasuram a day, uploading it before midnight irrespective of what I was busy with or wherever I was travelling on work during my busy career days. It was divine will and blessing of the Lord and Sri Andal that I could complete it.
The target audience for this work are devotees who are unable to read Tamil and also to understand it easily. It’s also for an audience that is seeking an introduction to devotional poetry like this. So it’s simple, easy to grasp and hopefully get the reader started and inspired to delve deeper into the subject through the works of many other scholars far more erudite and divine to whom I offer my respects.
Over the years I have revised and improved it bit by bit. The other sections were added later and now with the improved site I hope to add more. The audio recording of the pasurams are given only to enable easier pronunciation of the words written in English letters and may not be musically perfect
I wish to inform that none of the content is generated by AI.
Thank you for visiting my site and reading, I hope you found the contents useful and it made you happy. Feel free to leave a review / comment if you like.
