Sunday 28th December 2025 (13th Verse) (Section II – 8 of 10)
(Awakening and inviting girl 7 to join the Special Worship -Nonbu)

Pulll in vaay keendanaip polla varakkanai

The beak of the bird, whose form a demon assumed

Killi kalaindhanaik keerthimai paadi poiy

He who tore it asunder, let’s sing His fame

Pillaikal ellarum pavai kalam pukkar

All the children are ready and reached the fields

Velli ezhundhu Vyazha muzhangittru

The planets venus has risen and Jupiter has set

Pullum silambinakann podhari kanninaay

The birds are screeching, o girl with lustrous eyes

Kullak kulira kudaindhu neeradadhe

Instead enjoying the bath in the cool waters,

Palli kidatthiyo paavay nee nannallal

You are lying down dear damsel on this auspicious day

Kallam thavirndhu kalandhelor empavai

Throw away the thief sleep and join us my girl

In this verse the effort is to wake up a girl with beautiful eyes, the girl appears to be sleeping lost in the thoughts of Lord Krishna, indicating that the girls were all inherently deeply devoted to the Lord and had Him in their thoughts most times, only given to laziness and reluctance to get out of their sleep in the early morning. The girls refer to the Lord as Krishna who tore up the jaws of the demon who took the form of a bird and as Rama who vanquished Ravana and destroyed his demon clan. Singing His praises the girls have gone forward to the holy place of worship, the evening planet has set and the morning planet is  visible, the birds are out to search for their food,  Oh beautiful girl, do not enjoy the thoughts of Krishna by yourself alone, come join us and let’s worship Him together.
