Ettrak Kalangall edhirpongi meedhalippa
As the vessels continue to overflow
Maatradhe paal soriyum vallal perumpasukkall
The benevolent cows that yield milk unstopping
Aattrap padaithaan magane ! Arivuraay
Son of that generous Nandagopala, wake up
Oottramudaiyay ! periyaay ! ulaginil
Supreme Lord, the unknowable mighty one, in this world
Thottramaay nindra chudare thuyilezhay
You appeared as a bright light, wake up
Maatrar unakku vali tholaindhu un vaasarkann
Your enemies, losing their valour are at your doorstep
Aattradhu vandhu unnadi paniyumam pole
Defeated and waiting to surrender at your feet

The girls are getting closer to waking up Sri Krishna, the glory of the Lord is infinite, cannot be contained in few descriptions and in every verse there is a reference to that greatness, Omnipotent, Omniscient. O Son of the Nandagopan who is the owner of magnificent cows that yield milk in torrents, O learned one, O one who protects all people of the world, Please wake up ! Your enemies lose all their courage on seeing your valour and seek refuge at your feet, likewise we your ardent devotees, sing your glory and praise and offer our worship at your feet.
